Want to wow your guests? Whatever you're celebrating, you need a hand-crafted, fully unique cake from Lyn's Cake Creations. All of my cakes are hand-crafted in my purpose-built work room, and come backed by over 15 years of sugar craft experience. Whether you opt for a full-flavoured fruit cake or a sumptuous, soft sponge cake, your cake is sure to leave them wanting more!
From our initial consultation (more of a friendly chat, really), you're sure to be inspired by my enthusiasm for creating the perfect cake for you. What's your flavour?
Your cake isn't just unique on the outside, you also have the choice of the filling and the flavour. Choose from rich, brandy-laced fruit cake, light fruit cake, or moist and airy sponge. If you do go down the route of a sponge cake, you can choose from the following delightful flavours:
- Strawberry and vanilla
- Yummy chocolate
- Zingy lemon
- Moist, spiced carrot
- Coffee and walnut
You can then choose to cover your cake with either sugar paste, chocolate, butter cream, or royal icing. The cake you choose is sure to be a huge hit with your guests, whatever combination you choose, and I'm more than happy to advise on some of my favourite flavours.
Cake prices
All cakes are individually priced with an exact price being given when the final design is decided; this applies as each cake is unique to each individual customer. I have, however, included a basic guide; these prices are for cakes with basic decoration which would include an inscription.

Portions
I will always guide my clients as to the amount of cake required, and this would be done at the initial consultation. As a general guide an 8” square fruit cake would provide approximately 64 portions and an 8” square sponge cake would provide approximately 32 portions.
BRING ME THE CAKE!
A full delivery service is available
I provide a delivery service for all wedding cakes within a 30-mile radius of my work room. I can deliver further but an additional charge will be made which will be discussed on booking. Other celebration cakes are to be collected from my premises unless agreed in advance.
When you confirm your booking, a deposit will be required which will be equal to a third of the final price.
